Among hard special steels, cemented carbide has extremely excellent wear resistance, but it cannot be directly welded. Therefore, using S45C, which has good weldability, as the base material, a cemented carbide plate is brazed onto the grooved area, resulting in the "wear-resistant plate (cemented carbide brazed type)."
